Paul Friedrich Meyerheim's 'Sidi - A Poodle with a Tennis Racket' led the sale, selling for £51,200. John Emms' 'The New Forest Buckhounds' (1896) followed, selling for £82,950, with the seller remaining undisclosed. Maud Earl's 'French Bulldog' sold for £14,080. Frederick Thomas Daws' 'Meurice of Mannerhead - A Very Fine Poodle' sold for £9,600.
The sale attracted collectors worldwide, with impassioned admirers bidding online and by phone. It honoured various breeds, including bulldogs, basset hounds, papillons, and poodles.
