Association Boosts Zille in Marienthal with 4,000 Euro Contribution
The Association for Leisure Activities in the Regensburg Area e.V. has stepped in to support the Zille in Marienthal, contributing 4,000 euros to its operation. The Zille, a beloved local attraction, has been connecting paths and generations for 125 years, providing leisure opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
Founded in 2001, the Förderverein für das Stadtteilzentrum Zille e.V. has been a key contributor to the Zille's operation. This organisation, along with the Association for Leisure Activities, recognises the Zille's central role in the region's leisure activities. The Zille facilitates access to hiking trails, serving as a hub for the Burgensteig between Marienthal and Burg Stockenfels, and connecting it with other routes in the area.
Available from May to the end of September, the Zille enhances the quality of life in the region. Many locals and tourists utilise it for recreation, enjoying the attractive leisure opportunities it provides. This latest contribution ensures the continued existence of the Zille and enables further development, strengthening the region sustainably.
The Association for Leisure Activities in the Regensburg Area e.V.'s 4,000 euro contribution secures the Zille's future, allowing it to continue connecting paths, landscapes, and generations. This support is a testament to the Zille's importance in the region's leisure activities and its positive impact on the community.
