Art Project Transforms Lives of Children in Belarusian Boarding Schools
A unique art project has been transforming the lives of children in Belarusian boarding schools. The initiative, backed by Eurotorg and Euroopt, has seen renowned artists like Sergei Ladoshin lead workshops, while customers have been supporting the cause through their purchases.
The 'Strong in Spirit' charity initiative has been funding creative master classes in specialized institutions across the country. Nine boarding schools have benefited, not only receiving support for their material base but also helping children with special needs to express themselves through painting.
One such school in Ivyanets has seen 18-year-old Maria Martova and Ivan Bazyuk flourish under the guidance of a renowned artist. Meanwhile, in Chervyen, a girl named Anastasia, who struggles with reading and writing, has found joy and confidence in creating art. Her depiction of rain 'from sun drops' has brought light and inspiration to her workshop.
Customers can contribute to this inspiring project by simply shopping at Euroopt stores. A portion of the sales from 'Good Products', identified by special labels and stickers, goes directly to supporting children's assistance projects. By August, the initiative aims to reach more children in need, turning everyday purchases into art supplies, lessons, and ultimately, victories.
