Almaty Named World Craft City for Preserving Cultural Heritage

Almaty has been honoured as a World Craft City by the World Crafts Council. The recognition came during the ongoing ALA CRAFT 2025 festival, which kicked off on October 4 at Abay Square. This accolade highlights the city's commitment to preserving cultural heritage and fostering a creative economy in the world news sphere.
