Breville has recently unveiled a new line-up of at-home espresso machines, offering home brewers the chance to create barista-style coffees in the comfort of their own kitchens.

Our Kitchen Appliances Editor, Molly Cleary, has been reviewing hundreds of small appliances for the past four years and is a certified expert on appliances. She has visited the testing and development spaces of multiple kitchen brands, including Ninja Kitchen and Le Creuset.

One of the standout machines in Breville's new range is the Barista Sense, which offers 4 temperature settings for making lattes, including ones for non-dairy milks. The Barista Sense is the most expensive machine in the new line-up, with prices starting from £599.99, but it is currently drastically reduced on Amazon, with the price dropping from £599.99 to £490.83.

Another machine worth mentioning is the Barista Slimline, which is made from metal and features a 'Cool Touch' steam wand for creating micro foam for lattes and cappuccinos. The most compact machine in the line-up, the Barista Slimline, is 33cm high and 15.5cm wide.

The Barista Classic espresso machine operates at 15-bar pressure and has a 10% larger portafilter capacity than market leading manual machines. It also features a one-touch cleaning system and incorporates TempSense technology for easier milk frothing.

The advanced milk frother in one of the machines ensures that milk (dairy or plant) is steamed at the exact right temperature for coffee. The espresso machines are available on Amazon and Currys, with prices starting from £239.99.

In addition to the Barista Sense and Barista Slimline, the new line-up includes a kitted out bean-to-cup model. Breville's Signature bean to cup machine, which resembles the Barista Classic, was well-received by our platform's reviewer Amy.

Overall, Breville's new line-up of at-home espresso machines offers home brewers the opportunity to create barista-quality coffees with ease and convenience. Whether you're looking for a compact machine or a more advanced model, Breville has something for everyone.
