The collaboration is MOZA's second with Automobili Lamborghini, and it is based on the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, a limited-edition track-only hypercar. The Dallas DreamHack setup paired the new wheel with MOZA's R16 Direct Drive Wheelbase and mBooster active pedals for a more authentic racing experience.
MOZA has gained recognition for its affordable racing solutions, but this configuration incorporates some of the brand's pricier technology, such as the R16 Wheelbase, which starts at $639 USD due to sales. The R16 Direct Drive Wheelbase features 16Nm of direct drive torque and a 21-bit magnetic encoder. It is supported by a high-performance slanted pole servo motor, and its body is made of aviation-grade aluminum.
The mBooster active pedals also contribute significantly. Although two configurations are available, the pricier CRP2 throttle with a price of $999 USD is likely the one used for this experience. These pedals have dual 200KG load cell sensors and a 21-bit high-resolution magnetic encoder. They are powered by a high-torque density motor, and they offer G-force feedback. Customizations can be made using the MOZA Pit House software to tailor the driving style.
This setup is more expensive compared to the budget-friendly Moza R5 Bundle that impressed users with its robust performance despite its budget price. The Moza R5 Bundle is also currently discounted by 27%, starting at $435.
The Revuelto replica sim racing wheel is a faithful reproduction of Lamborghini's V12 machine's steering wheel. Although it is expected to be more expensive than some of MOZA's other gear, it will likely be the most affordable way for most people to get a feel for a Lamborghini steering wheel.
