Established in 1918, this Kreuzberg mainstay has been serving cold beer for over a century. Initially christened "Zum kleinen Mohr", the name was revised in 2017 to "Zum kleinen Moritz".

Vivien Uecker, a long-time Kreuzberg resident, has manned the bar since 2020. She attributes the pub's unique charm to its patrons. "The guests make this place special," she says with a smile. "We have a good bunch of people here, most of whom we've raised well."
Daytime regulars find solace within its walls, while the evening crowd draws a younger demographic. Night shifts are staffed by male personnel for security reasons, as the area occasionally attracts rough characters. However, stress levels remain low, thanks to the camaraderie among patrons.
Atze, a local Kreuzberg native with East German roots and a distinct Berlin accent, has been a regular for over 15 years. For him, the pub is more than just a watering hole. "This isn't just a pub, it's family," he says, reminiscing about the days when his grandfather, boxer Achim, frequented the pub.
Atze's band occasionally performs at the pub. Originally known as Chaosband, they perform classic rock covers of bands like Motörhead, ZZ Top, and AC/DC. "Playing here is always a treat," Atze adds.
A quick glance at the beer menu reveals affordable prices. A small Schultheiss draft costs 3 Euros, while half a liter sets you back 4.10 Euros. Atze commends the reasonable pricing and expresses optimism about the pub's future due to the heavy foot traffic and nearby entertainment venues.
